A heart healthy diet is something that can prevent people from contracting heart diseases. It is good for the whole family, including children as young as two years of age. Younger kids, on the other hand, are not supposed to participate in diets yet as they still need more calories from fats to nurture and help their bodies and organs to grow.
Although belonging to a family with a history of heart disease is unavoidable, a dietary plan for maintaining a low-density lipoprotein level could still help. Lipoprotein is what carries (bad) cholesterol to the bloodstream, thus keeping it under control could ensure a safer way of living.
